An opportunity has arisen for a CFO to partner the rest of the C-Suite team in driving company performance. The CFO will play a pivotal role in steering the organization to achieve its strategic goals whilst providing robust financial management. With plans to continue organic growth and also through acquisition the CFO will be pivotal in steering the growth strategy and integrating acquisition companies as required. Reporting directly to the CEO, the CFO will be responsible for overseeing all financial operations, including accounting, budgeting, financial reporting, and forecasting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the financial management of the organization overseeing all financial operations, budgeting, financial reporting, and forecasting.
- Review and develop financial policies, procedures and controls to ensure compliance.
- Lead the budgeting, forecasting and financial planning processes developing a robust 3 year financial plan.
- Identify process improvements and automate where appropriate.
- Provide insight to the executive team through thorough analysis of financial data and performance metrics identifying trends.
- Recommend corrective measures in the event of under performance against budget.
- Provide strategic financial guidance to the executive team, including analysis of potential investments and acquisitions.
- Manage relationships with external stakeholders, such as auditors, regulators, and investors.
- Lead and develop a high-performing finance team, providing mentorship and professional development opportunities.
Required experience and qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field; Master’s degree or CPA preferred.
- Proven experience as a CFO or in a senior finance role within the service industry.
- Strong understanding of financial management, accounting principles, and financial analysis.
- Ability to review and analyse processes and implement improvements to process and systems leveraging automation where appropriate.
- Strong leadership and communication skills and ability to mentor and develop a team.
- Knowledge of professional services industry and associated regulatory requirements is a plus.
