Registering online ensures we have all your essential information and search criteria to match you with the right CFO opportunities efficiently. This streamlined process allows us to focus on generating vacancies and finding the best fit for you.
Registration FAQs
No, there is no cost to you for registering with us. Our service is completely free for candidates. Corporations are charged a recruitment fee when they engage us to conduct a search for a suitable CFO. Our goal is to help you find the best CFO positions without any cost to you.
Our online form requests key details about your professional background, qualifications, job search criteria, and preferences. This helps us identify suitable roles and enables us to contact you regarding relevant opportunities.
Our online registration form is designed to be quick and efficient. It should take you no more than 5-10 minutes to complete, ensuring that we obtain all the necessary information without taking up too much of your time.
Detailed registration calls with every candidate would leave us little time to generate vacancies, limiting opportunities for all. Many job seekers dislike lengthy initial interviews only to never hear back from a recruiter. Our streamlined form takes just 10 minutes, ensuring we efficiently gather your details and maximize your chances of finding a suitable position. We can spend ‘all day’ talking to our candidates OR ‘all day’ talking to clients about our candidates. The latter will benefit you more.
We are primarily focused on active mandates and generating new vacancies, which means we currently don’t have the capacity for one-on-one conversations with everyone. However, we do offer support through our Monthly Group CFO Career Advisory Workshop. In this workshop, we provide general advice on job search strategies, market insights, and career planning. You can find more details and sign up for the next session here: https://cfo-recruit.net/
Additionally, we offer a wide range of resources for CFOs to assist with every stage of the job search process. Please visit our candidate resources section on the website by clicking the following link. https://cfo-recruit.com/candidate-resources/
Many of our clients request that we do not advertize their vacancies due to confidentiality. Therefore, job adverts only represent a fraction of the assignments we are working on. Registering with us, even if you are only passively looking, ensures you have access to these exclusive opportunities. We are not a volume-based recruiter, so you won’t be inundated with calls or emails from us about vacancies.
We take your privacy and data security very seriously. Our registration form is hosted on a secure platform, ensuring that your personal information is protected and used solely for recruitment purposes.
Absolutely not. In fact, registering online maximizes your chances of being considered for suitable CFO positions. It allows us to have a comprehensive understanding of your profile and preferences, ensuring we can quickly match you with the right opportunities as they arise.
Once you register online, your profile is visible in our CRM system and you will be matched with relevant vacancies as they arise. You will receive notifications on potential opportunities that align with your qualifications and preferences and we will then invite you to discuss them in more detail during a video interview.
Ensure your resume provides a detailed, factual account of your experience and skills. Remember, clients have specific non-negotiables, and you either have this experience or you don’t. We are paid by the client company for successful outcomes. Please note that not all non-negotiables will be made public. If you genuinely match the client’s list of required experience, we will be in contact. We appreciate your time is precious, so we do not see a benefit in adding you to a shortlist just to make up the numbers.
There is no guarantee we will find work for everyone who registers. Whilst we work hard to generate opportunities for our candidates, we have little control over the experience required by the organization, we will not have a vacancy for each person who registers. This is why we keep the registration process as streamlined as possible, so if you are unsuccessful, all you will have lost is 10 minutes of your time.
Yes, you can update your information anytime. Once your registration has been approved, simply log into your profile on our website and make the necessary changes. Keeping your information up-to-date helps us to be more accurate when we match you with current job opportunities.
For any technical issues please email: [email protected]
Once a role comes in that may be suitable, we will reach out to arrange a convenient time to discuss the role in more detail. At this point, you can decide if the opportunity is something you would like to pursue.
No, your details will never be shared for an opportunity without us speaking to you first and obtaining your consent to present your profile. We have an obligation to you as a registered candidate and to the corporations we represent to only offer candidates who match their criteria and are genuinely interested. This can only be guaranteed by first having a detailed discussion with you.
After registering, your profile will be visible to our recruiters and will be matched to suitable CFO opportunities. This happens immediately even while you are waiting for your registration to be reviewed by our approvals team. Once your registration has been approved you will be emailed a unique password for logging in. Your login username will be the email address you registered with.
Your application will be approved within 2 business days, quite often a lot sooner.
If you do not receive a password or you cannot find your password, you can reset it by using the following link: https://cfo-recruit.com/forgotten-password. If you see the message ‘The user does not exist’, it means that you do not have an account with us. In this case, please email us at [email protected] and we can investigate things further.
When a suitable opportunity arises, we will notify you via email or SMS text about a potential vacancy that matches your requirements. The message will include instructions on the next steps. We will usually provide a calendar link to schedule a video call to discuss the opportunity in more detail.
Not necessarily. There may be many candidates who match the broad criteria for a vacancy. In these cases, it will not be possible to discuss the vacancy with every candidate who meets these broad criteria. When this happens, we will scrutinize the ‘nice to have’ criteria set by the client until we have a manageable number of candidates we can reach out to. Given that we will want to present the client corporation with the most appropriate options matching their requirements, if you genuinely do not have a chance of securing the role, we will not contact you just to make up the numbers.
As specialist headhunters, our approach differs from that of traditional staffing agencies. While standard agencies often conduct general registration interviews in anticipation of future openings, our primary focus is on actively generating vacancies. This means we dedicate the majority of our time to identifying and creating opportunities tailored to your expertise.
Consequently, we do not conduct routine check-in calls or require you to attend a registration interview until there is a specific vacancy to discuss. If you are invited for a registration interview, it will be with a particular role in mind, ensuring a more targeted and efficient process.
The time frame can vary depending on the number of suitable vacancies available. Rest assured, we will reach out to you as soon as we identify a potential match. Please note that we will not have a vacancy for every candidate who registers. It is the client corporations who set their wish list of desired skills and experience. Sometimes they may set a high bar and this bar may be raised further if there is an unmanageable number of candidates who meet the initial criteria.
If we find a role that fits your search criteria and you meet the client’s requirements, we will contact you. There is no need for you to apply for the position. Duplicating the work of our recruiters reduces their vacancy generation time so you do not need to apply for our advertized roles once you are registered.
Due to client confidentiality, we may not post all criteria required for a position. There may be additional skills and experiences the client desires that aren’t detailed in the advert. Also, the client’s requirements may change during the process. Rest assured, if you genuinely match the client’s wish list, we will be in touch.
No, we would never send your details without first speaking to you about the opportunity. Not only is this unethical, but we want to ensure we only present the client with candidates who are both suitable and genuinely interested in their opportunity. It is not in anyone’s interest for us to do otherwise.
If your circumstances change or you wish to alter your search criteria you can login and amend these directly in your account area at https://cfo-recruit.com/login/
It’s a good idea to update your profile whenever there are significant changes to your experience, skills, or job search preferences. This helps us keep your information current and relevant for matching to suitable opportunities.
Your information is confidential and will only be shared with potential employers with your consent. We do not share your details with any third parties without your approval.
You can still register with us even if you are not actively looking for a position. This ensures that we have your information on file and can reach out to you with opportunities that align with your future career goals.
Once you have found a new role you can deactivate your account via the login area. However, many CFOs choose to keep their account live so they can still be contacted about a role which may further their career. We are not a volume-based recruiter so you will soon find out that a specialist firm like CFO Recruit will not inundate you with opportunities. Therefore, it does you no harm to be kept in the loop with the market, especially if it can help your career.
