A dynamic and innovative technology company based in Los Angeles, on a rapid growth trajectory, is seeking a highly skilled and strategic Chief Financial Officer to join the leadership team. Our client’s commitment to excellence has positioned them as a leader in the industry.
The CFO will play a crucial role in driving the financial success and strategic growth of the company. Reporting directly to the CEO, the CFO will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of financial management, strategy development whilst also ensuring the financial health of the organization.
The CFO will have the following responsibilities:
- Provide strategic financial leadership, working closely with the executive team to drive business performance.
- Communicate the financial position of the business to investors and deal with all external stakeholders.
- Lead fund raising activities to secure additional investment.
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the finance department, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in financial reporting.
- Collaborate with the executive team to develop and implement financial strategies that align with the overall business and investor objectives.
- Contribute to the development of the company’s long-term financial plans and goals.
- Lead the preparation and management of annual budgets, working closely with department heads to ensure alignment with strategic priorities.
- Oversee regular forecasting and analysis to support informed decision-making.
- Oversee the timely and accurate preparation of financial statements and reports.
- Provide insights and recommendations based on financial analysis to drive business decisions.
- Ensure the establishment and maintenance of robust risk management and compliance frameworks.
- Stay current with industry regulations and standards, implementing necessary changes to ensure compliance.
- Build, lead and mentor a high-performing finance team, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; MBA preferred.
- CPA certification required.
- Proven experience as a senior financial leader in a technology-driven organization.
- In-depth knowledge of financial management, forecasting, and strategic planning.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
